During the construction of the boundary wall at Bhumia Kheda in Hussainpur village, Saharanpur, a remarkable find of 400 silver coins from the Mughal period has come to light. These coins, believed to be over three centuries old, hold an estimated value of three thousand each. The police have taken charge of the site, ensuring its protection.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain reported that laborers discovered the coins on Sunday night while excavating the earth for the boundary wall at Sati Dham temple in Hussainpur village. Upon receiving information about this significant find, the police promptly arrived at the scene, seized the coins, and secured the area.
