Tragic Helicopter Crash Claims Lives of Two Pilots in Taliban-Controlled Air Force




A helicopter belonging to the Air Force under Taliban control crashed during a patrol in the northern province of Samangan, leading to the unfortunate loss of two lives. The Defense Department, as cited by Khaama Press, verified the incident. The Taliban-appointed defense department confirmed that the air force helicopter, an MD-530, encountered a technical issue and collided with a high-voltage power line in the Khulm district of Samangan province. Regrettably, this accident resulted in the tragic deaths of both pilots.
